Over the recent hot weather, we have been able to make life a little easier for some of the patients in the hospital.

A couple of months ago, a former member of our committee found himself in Fern Ward of King George's and sweltering from the heat. He contacted one of his former colleagues and asked if we could do something to help.

We approached our main contact at the hospital who made the necessary enquiries and confirmed that this would be in order.

Within a week of our initial enquiry, we had 50 fans delivered to the required ward.

Our aim is to make life as easy for the patients as possible.
